grand opening with a ribbon cutting.
Store owners Gene & Abigail Duvic
have opened a store brimming
with fun, neat and nostalgic gifts.
Gene, who has been in the gift and
jewelry business for over 25 years
said that their goal is to provide the
"WOW" factor for each gift giving
occasion. We want customers to
have fun and be amazed.
Just a few things you'll find here: a
holographic pig, perpetual motion
wooden machines, Scramble
Squares (a nine piece puzzle that
we offer to give you a free one if you
can solve it in 5 minutes or less),
sterling silver and gemstone
jewelry, lots of fleur de lis items,
hand made kaleidoscopes(even
kits to make your own), music
boxes, glassware, candles and
home decor.
Abigails (and no, it does not have
an apostrophe on the end) is
named for two Abigails, the first is
Gene's wife and the second, their
granddaughter.
We offer all the amenities of old
fashioned Mom & Pop stores
including gift wrapping, custom gift
baskets and customer wish lists.
The store is located in historic
Olde Towne Slidell at 1922 First St,
where Fremaux meets Front St.
and is open week days from 10 am
to 7PM, Sundays from Noon to
7PM, closed on Mondays and
Tuesdays.
